You've Created A Monster
My wonderful husband bought me a laptop for my 30th birthday last November. I was so excited, until I realized without understanding how to use it and never taking the time to figure the thing out, it sat in the box until this weekend.
Finally, a friend came over and hooked up a wireless router, showed me how to use all the features of this mini-midnight lover and I am up and running as hubby lies beside me sleeping. Is he annoyed with me yet??? He hasn't said so, but as I type this blog, he has turned over and fallen asleep. He is not yet snoring, but I anticipate that soon to come. I mean seriously, I can lay in bed, surf the net and catch up on all my reading via the internet.
It really is a beautiful thing.

Ooh, that sounds like such fun- a combination of two wonderful things- lying in bed and blogging. Is there any place like a park near you with wireless access? And, Jeff- limits, on computer use???

Uh oh...the PC monster is out of its cage! You know doctors say that only two things should be done in bed. Sleeping is one of them and the other is not using the PC.

I am hooked as well. I have my new dell in the basement and my old laptop in my bedroom. That way I can always escape somewhere and blog.

Aside from that. Thank you for your comment on my site the other day, re: dentist! It was much appreciated and encouraging.
You know. . . my sisters 6 year old has a mouth full of cavities and the dentist said she has some type of condition it wasn't due to lack of brushing or flossing. I don't know the name - but apparently her adult teeth might come in with cavities too! How awful!
I sure hope my son doesn't have that! The dentist never said anything about it, so I think he's okay - - we'll maybe not okkkkaay - but just the run of the mill cavities I guess.

Your coolness index just jumped a few points--laptop blogging, how neat. I'm tempted to get a laptop myself someday, but I have enough trouble keeping my work computer and home computer and Palm Pilot sync'd. Hey--Palm Pilot blogging--maybe I need to look into that.
